| Welcome to our on-line source of
DMAT information. It is designed for Dayton DMAT members to keep
up to date, but many others will find it of use also. DMAT teams
can be viewed as mobile emergency rooms, providing triage and stabilization
of patients at a disaster site and providing basic medical services.
The Dayton DMAT organization has been designated a first response team. The
team operates under the National Disaster Medical System, an entity of
the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
